Research Scientist II
Anirudh joined Geospatial and Population Studies in 2012 as a data entry assistant for the Traffic Research Unit. A month later, he started working with the research team at GPS doing geographic information science (GIS) research as a graduate student assistant. After his graduation, he was asked to join as a research scientist. He has built multiple programs that ensure automation of population estimates and various other tasks, such as geocoding and data cleaning. He is part of the team that is building master address file for the US Census Bureau for 2020.
