Scott Daniel Hughes, Ph.D.

Research Scientist III, Associate Research Professor
Dr. Scott D. Hughes began work with the GPS team on April 1, 2018. He is responsible for helping write and edit reports, serving on the management team, and developing new projects. Two projects that he currently has underway include a pilot review of the Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) program in New Mexico and establishing a data clearinghouse website for a proposed collaboration with the National Neighborhood Indicators Partnership, a national collection of 33 organizations in collaboration with the Urban Institute that works to build connections between people and neighborhoods. The proposed initiative for GPS will focus on the City of Albuquerque and Bernalillo County.
