Gary is a US Navy veteran and started at GPS as a student technical specialist in July 2012. In March 2015, he transitioned to work as a GIS technician in the Population and Census Research Units. Gary was hired as a staff data analyst in November 2016. His work focuses on supervising data entry, while he and his team process law enforcement crash reports throughout New Mexico. He further prepares the data for the GPS database and the Traffic Research Unit while reporting to TRU clients. Gary continues to help the Census Research Unit and the Local Update of Census Address (LUCA) team for the 2020 Census.
